The email supplied by hosting companies are convenient and easy to configure. This often makes them seem ideal when starting a new site. We simply add additional accounts, and the user simply logs into the provided webmail applications such as Horde, RoundCube or SquirrelMail, or configure Outlook or Thunderbird or some other client. This is a great and simple option, but becomes difficult to manage. After a while these can become cumbersome to manage and you may start to explore different options.

Clients of small CMS site builders such as CGA Web Design often do not have a deep independent strategy for their online presence. They rely on the expertise of their developer to provide them with flexible and effective web sites that meet their business goals. Their strategies do not include large extended budgets for maintenance and support. In order to meet the needs of such clients CGA selected Joomla! 1.5 a few years ago. It presented the most user friendly, flexible and stable platform for our client's CMS needs.

I was flattered when a short while ago Jack from StackIdeas contacted me for permission to showcase one of our client's websites for their blogging component showcase. I immediately contacted Angela at tabi-tabi about their tabi-tabi Hakuba website, and was glad to hear she would love to have the site presented (and immediately recognized the importance of such natural links for SEO). I contacted Jack and Andrew at StackIdeas and discussed shortly how the site would be represented and why.
